Coalition for Fertility

Coalition for Fertility

The Coalition for Fertility is an initiative jointly coordinated by Fertility Europe and ESHRE. It brings together 12 diverse organisations that are united in the aim to advocate for comprehensive and inclusive fertility policies in Europe, with reproductive autonomy and justice at the centre.

The joint declaration signed by all Coalition members calls on policymakers to:

  • Internationally implement the right to found a family
  • Ensure universal access to fertility services
  • Recognise the mental health impact of involuntary childlessness
  • Implement comprehensive sexuality education programmes
  • Provide targeted support for marginalized groups
  • Adopt a "Fertility in all Policies” approach, recognizing that involuntary childlessness is a multifaceted challenge that is impacted by all policy areas
