Dr Ilse Delbaere

In 1999, Ilse Delbaere graduated as a midwife. After a couple of years working as a midwife in Luxemburg, she got her master degree in 2004 and a phD in 2008 (Ghent University). As a postdoctoral researcher, she worked on the topic of preconception care and fertility. In 2014, she started working as researcher/lecturer in the bachelor education of midwifery (VIVES University of Applied Sciences, Kortrijk, Belgium), where she is still involved in research of preconception care and fertility. She is a member of the International Fertility Education Initiative (IFEI) and of the Belgian Fertility Education Initiative (BFEI).
