Course description
The course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how adenomyosis and endometriosis affect fertility; and how to manage these common but complex conditions. The biological and molecular mechanisms behind adenomyosis and endometriosis will be explored along with surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches, and other perspectives. The workshop’s goal is to ensure attendees gain valuable insights for further research; and tools for effective, personalised and patient-centred care.
Target audience
Healthcare practitioners and researchers in the field of adenomyosis/endometriosis.
Educational needs and expected educational outcomes
The course will look at adenomyosis/endometriosis from many different perspectives including basic/translational research; and from the viewpoints of medical, ART, and surgical experts.
Participants will learn about the relationship between adenomyosis/endometriosis and infertility. They will learn about evidence-based care and how to implement this efficiently in the clinic. Furthermore, the workshop will focus on the future research priorities in the adenomyosis/endometriosis field.
Innovative aspects of the course
The management of adenomyosis/endometriosis and their impact on infertility will be analysed with particular focus on the different types of disease.
