The course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the pharmacological, non-pharmacological and surgical management of endometriosis. We will explore all perspectives of this complex condition (from patients, over clinicians and researchers to policymakers) to gain valuable insights for further research and tools for effective, personalized and patient-centred care.

Educational needs and expected educational outcomes

Participants will learn about the different challenges in the management of patients with endometriosis. They will gain insights on evidence-based care and an efficient strategy of implementation in the clinical practice. Furthermore, we will focus on the future research priorities in the endometriosis field. The aim will be to identify and improve the understanding of how research and policymaking affect the development of clinical pathways.

The course will look at endometriosis from many different perspectives: basic/translational research; healthcare policy; and the viewpoints of patients and clinicians.
