This course aims to discuss the challenges of fertility preservation management in children, including the need for a multidisciplinary approach. It will also provide an update on the clinical research in the field, by highlighting research priorities and future challenges.
Target audience
All healthcare professionals involved in fertility preservation including clinicians, coordinators and nurses in pediatric oncology programmes, embryologists, psychologists, and pediatric oncologists.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to improve fertility preservation counselling for children and their parents. They will also be able to understand the limitations of fertility preservation techniques in this population, discuss long-term consequences of treatment on future pregnancy, and identify the potential ethical barriers.
