Course description
Throughout Europe and the rest of the world fertility preservation is offered to more and more patients faced with a potential loss of fertility. But although results are increasingly good, there remain a group of patients for whom fertility preservation is a challenge due to either the nature of their disease or medical conditions in the individual patient. In this program we will concentrate on some of these problems and through case presentations and discussions hopefully be able to offer solutions on how best to help our patients in the future.

Expected educational outcomes

After this course the participants will have learned about some of the challenges we face when working with fertility preservation. They will be able to better help those patients whose disease or medical condition could pose a challenge to their wish for fertility preservation. Patients that we normally find it difficult to help.

Target audience

Clinicians, nurses and counsellors involved in fertility preservation services
