“COVID-19 has pushed us to be creative in our work to make sure our patients are comfortable and safe with us and their treatments. It really feels like we are all in this together globally, fighting not only against infertility but this pandemic, too. On the other hand, having to reduce the number of cycles has surely had an economic impact on many of us. The biggest consequence I have personally had to face has been related to my studies. I am due to begin an MSc Clinical Embryology program in the UK in the fall, but for this I first need to take an English exam. Due to the pandemic, taking this exam has been very complicated and will likely cost much more than anticipated. But despite everything, one side-effect of this pandemic I am very happy about is that I will be able to attend ESHRE 2020 thanks to it being online!”
