Effect of miscarriage on patients
• Patients experience high levels of anxiety affecting their decision to invest in future treatments and pregnancies due to the uncertainty of the process and the fear of another pregnancy loss (Freda et al., 2003; Harris and Daniluk, 2010)
• Women who did not have a child after IVF had twice risk of suicide than women who had at least one child after treatment (Kjaer et al, 2011)
