Live birth in subsequent embryo transfer (ET) after miscarriage in first ET
• Retrospective study in Peking, compared three groups from first embryo transfer:
1. No pregnancy (n=6651)
2. Biochemical pregnancy (n=520);
3. Spontaneous abortion (n=427).
• Clinical pregnancy rates similar among groups (~37%)
• Biochemical pregnancy group had highest biochemical pregnancy rate (8% versus 4% in no pregnancy group, 5.3% in spontaneous abortion group
• Biochemical pregnancy and spontaneous abortion group had higher miscarriage rate (11.8% and 14.8% versus 7.4%)
