Quality management
• All preparations must be performed in sterile conditions
• Rest biological material must be disposed in special bins.
• LAF’s must be cleaned in between sperm sample preparations
• LAF’s must be yearly tested, calibrated and validated
• Centrifuges must be regularly cleaned, calibrated and validated

• Only one specimen is actually worked on at any point in time
• Multiple samples may be centrifuged at the same time as long as there is an established procedure for verification of each tube’s identity by a witness.
• All re‐identification steps should be well documented.
