Course description
Reproductive surgery is performed quite exclusively through endoscopy, either trans umbilical, transvaginal or hysteroscopic. This course will describe how to prevent, and manage endoscopic complication of reproductive surgery.
Target audience
Gynaecologists with a reproductive surgery practice
Educational needs and expected outcomes
It is of utmost importance to know the specific complication of reproductive surgery which could be life threatening. Prevention is the key and it involves technical and non-technical skill.
This session will be a comprehensive course explaining the key factors of prevention, including the psychological aspects. A special focus will be made on the management of the complications directly related to reproductive surgery such as endometriosis or fibroids surgery
