“The COVID-19 pandemic has been a breaking point in my life as a gynaecologist in Reproductive Medicine. We have adapted to find a “new normal” by implementing telemedicine and increasing safety precautions, but are finding that normal face-to-face human connection is irreplaceable. Continuing to provide care for patients as they go through pregnancy and give birth in this time has provided me with some hope throughout this battle. I have faith that empathy will be the pillar of our future.”
