Marcia Inhorn

Marcia C. Inhorn is the William K. Lanman Professor of Anthropology and International Affairs at Yale University. A medical anthropologist focusing on gender and health, Inhorn has been studying infertility and assisted reproductive technologies over the past thirty years, and is the author of six books on the subject. Her latest project, funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation, focuses on women’s use of oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing) for both medical and non-medical purposes.
