Tetanus toxoid vaccination in pregnancy
• WHO recommends Tetanus toxoid vaccination for all pregnant woman.
• If a PW has not previously been vaccinated against T or the immunization is unknown, she should receive 2 doses of Tetanus toxoid‐ containing vaccine one month apart with the 2° dose given at least 2w before delivery. A 3° dose is recommended 6m after the 2° dose, to extend protection for at least 5 years.
