Vaccines safety
• Any vaccine may cause side effects that are generally mild and not long‐lasting.
• Severe local and general side‐effects can occasionally occur following vaccination.
• Woman might be concerned about receiving a vaccination while pregnant.
Vaccinations during pregnancy
• No contraindication for inactivated vaccines or toxoids that are considered safe in pregnancy
• No contraindications for bacterial vaccines (bacteria are unable to cross the intact placenta, to inhibit mitosis or to induce breaks in chromosomes determining congenital malformations).
