Cumulative live birth rate after miscarriage in first cycle of IVF
• Women who miscarried in their first complete cycle had 42% increased odds of live birth over the following complete cycles compared to women who had no pregnancy (adjusted odds ratio (95% CI) = 1.42 (1.34 to 1.50)
• Women who had a live birth in their first complete cycle had twice the odds of live birth over their following cycles compared to women who had no pregnancy (adjusted odds ratio (95% CI) = 2.04 (1.89 to 2.20)
• Findings should reassure couples who have suffered a miscarriage in their initial IVF/ICSI cycle
