     • - RCT for pipelle aspiration as method to influence implantation rate
• - Methods: patients with at least one failed IVF
• Intervention group: pipelle biopsy twice in the luteal phase of the cycle prior to IVF • Control group: no intervention
- Results:
- 55 women in intervention arm vs 56 women in control group
- Clinical pregnancy rate not significantly different (RR 1.35)
- Live birth rate, miscarriage rate and preterm delivery rate also not significantly different
- Conclusion: no improvement after use of pipelle aspiration
   - Multicenter RCT in dutch hospitals
- Metods: randomisation of 900 women with at least 1 previous IVF failure for intervention (endometrial biopsy catheter) or controls
- The estimated difference in the ongoing pregnancy rate of 39% vs 30%
- The study is expected to finalise recruiting in 12 months, and 12 months of follow up Will this study clarify the question????
