   • - RCT with 300 subfertile women proposed for IVF: 150 with endometrial aspiration vs 150 controls
• - Method: endometrial aspiration in the luteal phase of the cycle preceding IVF
• - No significance difference for implantation rate (RR 1.08); ongoing pregnancies (RR
0.833); miscarriage rate (RR 1.63); and multiple pregnancy rate (RR 1.62)
• - Limitations: also included women at 1st IVF attempt
• - Conclusion: no significant improvement on the clinical pregnancy rate
   • - RCT on the effect of saline intrauterine infusion on the implantation rate
• - Methods: 20 women received saline infusion through IUI catheter during day 3-5 of the
ongoing ovarian stimulation cycle, vs 39 controls
• - Results: lower clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate in the intervention group
• - Conclusion: intrauterine saline infusion in the ongoing IVF cycles does not improve implantation rate
