*EDCs affect imprinting: in ART, methylation maintenance may be compromised. In culture media, forget the concept of “essential aminoacids “ . It increases the risks of imprinting /epigenetic problems!!
Addition of methyl donors in culture media MUST be considered
Addition of nuclear bases must be considered as well. Especially C and G
The mouse model should be re-evaluated : some methylation processes (especially oocyte) are not fully similar to what is observed in Human
The methylation dynamics in Human cannot be studied on ART embryo so far...(see Smith et al vs and Song et al.)
Culture media should be redesigned carefully avoiding uncontrolled statements... Epigenetics and Biochemistry
