  Adenomyosis, Infertility and IVF
1. The rates of implantation, clinical pregnancy per cycle, clinical pregnancy per embryo transfer, on‐going pregnancy and live births among women with adenomyosis are significantly lower than in those without adenomyosis.
2. The miscarriage rate in women with adenomyosis was higher than in those without adenomyosis.
3. It appears that surgical treatment or treatment with GnRHa increases the spontaneous pregnancy rate in women with adenomyosis.
Conclusion: Adenomyosis has a detrimental effect on IVF clinical outcomes. Pretreatment with long term GnRHa or long protocol could be beneficial.

Conservative surgery for adenomyosis and results: A systematic review Younes & Tulandi (JMIG, 2017)
• Reproductive aged women should be managed with less invasive treatments including medical treatment.
• For patients who are refractory or unsuitable to long term medical treatment, or those with focal adenomyoma, conservative surgeries could be offered.
