Outcomes of the pregnancies complicated by CPM
• Predominantly favorable: newborns with normal weight and phenotype, no development problems (Fryburg et al., 1993; Stetten et al., 2004; Amor et al., 2006; Miura et al., 2006)

• Associated with IUGR (Stipoljev et al., 2001; Wilkins-Haug et al., 2006),
• CPM from meoitic origin (a priori type 3 CPM) associated with IUGR and
IUFD (Robinson et al., 1997),
• Neonatal hypotrophy: influence of the percentage of chromosomal
abnormalities? (Sifakis et al., 2010)
Given these contradictions
• What information to give patients and what medical care to provide still under discussion,
• Which influence of CPM subtypes on pregnancy outcome (IUFD, term and birth weight)?
