There are three different classes of plasma proteins
There are more than 100 clinical plasma or serum tests.
These tests include mainly functional class proteins (50%), and tissue leakage markers (25%).
None of the laboratory tests is based on protein identification by mass spectrometry.
Proteins in low < 1ng/mL concentrations.
