Antioxidants for male infertility
• 48 small RCTs comparing type or dose of antioxidant supplement (single or combined) taken by 4179 infertile men (age 20‐52) of couples seeking fertility assistance with a placebo, no treatment or another antioxidant.
• Conclusions: Low quality evidence (4 small RCTs) suggests that antioxidant supplementation in infertile males may improve live birth rates. There is no evidence of increased risk of miscarriage but this is uncertain as the evidence is of very low quality.
