 Several SNP’s in the FSH Receptor do have some functional effects on FSH and LH serum levels
 The least sensitive FSH Receptor is associated with higher endogenous FSH levels and with a longer
follicular phase length and hence with longer menstrual cycle length
 The least sensitive FSH receptor is also associated with an increased number of antral follicles
 FSH-β chain SNP’s are also associated with differences in FSH serum levels
 FSH-β chain SNP’s have a different distribution amongst different groups of infertile women
 FSH-β chain SNP’s are also associated with differences in AFC and AMH serum levels
 FSH-β chain SNP’s are associated with time to pregnancy
 FSH Receptor as well as FSH-β chain SNP’s seem to enhance each other effects in case the least frequent alleles are appearing together
