Diagnosis of Adenomyosis
• Adenomyosisisadisorderwherebasalendometrialglandsandstroma are found in the myometrium with reactive hyperplasia of the surrounding smooth muscle myometrial cells.
• Incidence20‐65%.
• Traditionally,thediagnosiswasmadebyhistopathologicalexamination.
• Todaythediagnosiscouldbedonewithahighlevelofaccuracywithout excisional surgery with Ultrasound and MRI.
