Intramural fibroids and IVF outcome: a retrospective controlled matched study
• The presence of intramural fibroids resulted in a significantly lower clinical pregnancy rates OR 0.62; 95% CI 0.4‐0.94 and significantly lower live birthrate OR 0.58‐95% CI 0.48‐0.78 (Christopoulos et al., 2017)
The deleterious effect of fibroids on live‐birth rate was more significant in women with two or more fibroids (OR 0.47, 95% CI 0.26‐0.83) and in women with fibroids ≥ 3 cm in diamter (OR 0.41 95% CI 0.19‐0.89). (Christopoulos et al., 2016)
