• Use universal precautions
– No evidence to support specific handling – Store all samples appropriately and safe
• Test once for HIV, HBV, HCV
• Manage patients, if infection is found: – HIV: treat infected partner
– HBV: vaccinate uninfected partner – HCV: treat infected partner
