Micropolyps & Chronic endometritis • Sensitivity 54%
• PVNRT 89%
The likelihood to have histological diagnosis of C.E. for women with micropolyps was very high (O.R. 124.2, C.I. 50.3 to 205.4).
(Cicinelli et al., Hum Reprod 2005)
• Specificity 99% • PVART 94%
• Design:
1. Systematic‐review of studies evaluating the diagnostic‐
accuracy of HSC in CE diagnosis;
2. Delphi‐consensus on hysteroscopic diagnostic‐criteria for CE;
3. Randomized‐controlled observer study to evaluate the reproducibility of the proposed diagnostic‐criteria.
• Participants: Experts from different countries were involved in the systematic‐review and contributed to the Delphi‐consensus. Physicians from different countries were involved in the observer‐study.
(Cicinelli et al., F&S 2019)
Limits: hysteroscopy operator‐dependent Consensus on diagnostic criteria for CE at hysteroscopy
