Summarise
• Association of DNA damage with fertility outcome
• Predictive value of sperm DNA damage tests for pregnancy was mostly poor, only the TUNEL assay may have moderate predictive value
• Pooled specificity of the TUNEL assay was low, also men with a high DNA fragmentation index were able to achieve a pregnancy
• Not useful in decision making between IVF and ICSI
