• CECOS: avoid disorder resulting from mere fact that donor gametes were used.*
• Taking medical /family history;
• Karyotyping to avoid child with unbalanced
• ARD = as much caused by heterozygosity of recipient, not regarded as ‘direct risk’
– If well‐informed recipients (from high‐prevalence groups) are concerned they can take the initiative to have themselves tested.
