Systematic Review: Embryo Injection Speed
• Insufficient evidence (grade C) to recommend any specific injection speed at the time of ET
ET Procedure
1. Review the prior patient mock‐ or transfer notes.
2. Prepare the patient for the procedure.
3. Time‐out procedure with identification and matching of patient and embryos.
4. Use abdominal ultrasound for view of the endometrial cavity and other pelvic structures and guidance of the embryo transfer procedure.
5. Practitioner prep for procedure to include some form of hand washing and sterile latex‐free gloves.
6. Place warmed speculum. Flush or cleanse cervix/vagina with cotton swab or gauze sponge using media or saline.
