New Surgical Approach of Ovarian Endometrioma
• Combined technique of excisional and ablative surgery
- 12 patients with monolateral endometrioma
- 3 step- technique by using coagulation
- No difference between the operated ovary and the controlateral ovary in terms of
ovarian volume and AFC at 6 months

• Endometrioma recurrence and ovarian reserve are similar for the ovary operated with the stripping technique and for the controlateral ovary operated with the combined technique.
• Recurrence : 5.9% ( stripping) vs 2% (combined technique)
• No difference in AFC
• At 6 months , ovarian volume is significantly lower in the combined technique
