• Surgery carrying the risk of impairing ovarian reserve and fertility, should be minimal invasive and preferentially be performed by trained physicians.
• The transvaginal laparoscopy offers a minimal invasive treatment for endometrioma ≤ 2 cm.
• Recurrence rates are as high as 40-50%; follow-up is necessary
