Results of national level stakeholder meeting in Sudan
 Discussions lead to:
 The need for fertility awareness in Sudan
• e.g. one participants stated: “there is a niche for such tools especially because our societies are geared towards childbearing”
 The importance of using culturally sensitive language especially regarding issues such as sex with multiple partners and drug use
• e.g. one participants stated: “some items (drugs and sex) are not acceptable and we cannot ask questions so openly like this”

 Results of the meeting necessitated exploring issues of acceptability of current language and more culturally appropriate alternatives with potential users of the adapted tools.
