The process of adapting a fertility awareness tool
 Requires examining sociocultural appropriateness and feasibility of tools such as FertiSTAT when planning use outside of the setting of their initial development (Bowen et al. 2009; Kreuter et al. 2003).
 It has been shown that use of evidence-based educational tools is improved if tools are culturally appropriate (Healey et al. 2017).
