At the crossroad between human embryology and embryonic stem cells: lessons from molecular and morphological analysis
Organised by Special Interest Group Stem Cells
COURSE COORDINATOR
Björn Heindryckx (Belgium)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
With the advancement of molecular techniques making single cell level analysis more and more possible, we have recently gained more insight in the molecular signalling pathways governing human embryo development. Importantly, this information is also very valuable for human embryonic stem cell derivation and affects its ef ciency. In this PCC, novel insights in human embryology both on the morphological and molecular level will be correlated with human embryonic stem cell derivation.
