Provide some understanding of the differences between FSH molecules throughout the menstrual cycle, and throughout a woman’s reproductive life span and during her postmenopausal years
Introduce the concept of FSH isoforms and their implications in vitro as well as in vivo in terms of follicular and endocrine responses
Discuss some pharmacodynamics of urinary and recombinant FSH preparations
Discuss some pharmacogenomic aspects of single nucleotide polymorphisms in the FSH-β chain
and the FSH receptor
Provide some understanding if and how these differences might affect clinical outcome of COH in IVF cycles
