Aromatase Inhibitors
Inhibition of aromatase activity could increase the intraovarian concentration of androgens by blocking their aromatization to estrogens
(Mitwally and Casper, 2002).
The adjunct use of aromatase inhibitors during ovarian stimulation has been shown to improve follicular response and reduce the amount of gonadotrophins required
(Kilic‐Okman et al., 2003; Metwally and Casper, 2003).
