• RPL is associated with excess inflammation, increased leukocyte influx, activation of wound healing/repair.
• Stem cell deficiency may limit capacity of the endometrium to support /predisposes to pregnancy failure; RPL strongly associated with uterine stem cell deficiency and enhanced cellular senescence (Lucas et al Stem Cells 2016)
